1. The instant criminal revision has been filed against the judgment of conviction under Section 138 of the N.I. Act which has been affirmed in appeal and a sentence of RI for one year and fine of Rs. 6 lakhs to be paid to the O.P. No. 2 as compensation.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner that the matter has been finally settled and a joint compromise petition has been filed by I.A. No. 3148/2024 for modification of the previous order and for exemption from surrender. The joint compromise petition has been annexed with the interlocutory application signed by both sides, wherein it has been stated that total compensation amount has been paid and there is no outstanding amount of the complainant against the petitioner.

3. After filing of the joint compromise petition, notices were issued to O.P. No. 2, but none has entered into appearance in his behalf despite the service of notice on O.P. No. 2.

4. In view of the matter having been settled by way of compromise for which a joint compromise petition has been filed supported by an affidavit, the instant Criminal Revision is disposed of in terms of compromise and accordingly, the judgment of conviction and order of sentence is set aside. Pending I.A., if any, stands disposed of.
