4/25.11.2022 Counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of this petitioner is covered by the judgment passed by this Court on 8th April, 2016 in W.P. (S) No. 1654 of 2013 and analogous cases.

Counsel appearing on behalf of Ranchi University submits that once the St. Xaviers' College, Ranchi, forwards the claim of the petitioner, appropriate order will be passed and the steps will be taken to ensure payment of the pension and gratuity to the petitioner.

Since the case of the petitioner is duly covered by the judgment passed by this Court in W.P. (S) No. 1654 of 2013 and analogous cases, considering the submission of Ranchi University that once the St. Xaviers' College forward the claim, they will do the needful, I direct Respondent No. 6 the Principal, St. Xaviers' College, Ranchi, to immediately forward the claim of the petitioner and other similarly situated teachers, to the Ranchi University. The Ranchi University, in turn, will scrutinize the same and will obtain fund from the State and ensure that the payment should be made to the petitioner and others, within a period of twelve weeks from today.

State is directed to immediately release the necessary fund, which will be sought for by Ranchi University.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
