1. Learned counsel for the parties are present.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case of the petitioner is fully covered by the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in 1995 Suppl. (3) SCC 56 (State of Bihar & Others vs. Md. Idris Ansari). However, he submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the appeal filed by the petitioner has been rejected vide order which has been filed along with the counter-affidavit and therefore, he seeks adjournment to take appropriate steps .

3. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the matter is adjourned and is directed to be posted on 08.08.2022 under the same heading.
