Order No.12/ Dated: 20th April 2022

By an order dated 03rd May 2018, this Letters Patent Appeal was admitted for hearing.

By the said order in I.A. No. 2923 of 2018 operation of the writ Court's order dated 28th February 2018 was stayed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

Thereafter I.A. No. 4878 of 2018 filed by the respondent was taken up for hearing on 14th October 2019 by another Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. I.A. No. 4878 of 2018 which was filed for vacating order of stay passed in I.A. No. 2923 of 2018 was dismissed observing that the respondent was not able to make out a fresh ground for vacation of the stay before final adjudication.

By the said order LPA No. 155 of 2018 was directed to be heard at an early date.

Thereafter this Letters Patent Appeal was listed on few occasions but for different reasons as recorded in the order dated 18 th November 2019, 15th February 2022 and 09th March 2022 hearing of this Letters Patent Appeal did not commence.

Mr. Amit Kumar Das, the learned counsel for the appellants states that he has already filed short synopsis and list of dates which are accompanied by a compilation of judgments.

Ms. Amrita Sinha, the learned counsel for the respondent is seeking adjournment for filing short synopsis and list of dates which has already been prepared on behalf of the respondent.

Post this matter on 11th May 2022 under the same heading to be taken up as the first matter.
