The present application has been filed by the applicant/petitioner
seeking revival of contempt proceedings which was disposed of vide
order dated 26.12.2022.
On the assurance of the learned Dy. AG, who assured this Court
that the judgment and order dated 20.12.2021 would be complied within a
period of one month and the order of consideration will be supplied to the
learned counsel for the petitioner. It was on this assurance, extended by
the counsel for the respondents that proceedings in the contempt petition
were closed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents did
not comply with the order, as no consideration orders have been passed
till date. Therefore, the applicant seeks revival of the contempt petition.
For the reasons stated in the application, coupled with the
submission made at the bar, the same is allowed. The proceedings in the
contempt petition (CCP(S) No. 353/2022) are revived.
This application is disposed of.
