                               ORDER

01. Petitioner has initiated the contempt proceedings against the

respondents for non-compliance of the order/judgment dated 21.07.2018

passed in OWP No. 1378/2018. Operative part of the same reads as

under:-

"Having regard to the grievance of the

petitioner and the relief sought, this petition

is admitted to hearing and disposed of by

issuing a direction to the respondents to pay

the petitioner the entire amount which is

lawfully due to him. In case the amount on

any portion thereof is not lawfully payable

to the petitioner, the respondents (competent

authority) shall apprise the petitioner in this

regard by passing a written order."

02. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that statement of

facts has been filed and in compliance to the order of this Court, the

respondents have settled the claim of the petitioner and release an amount

of Rs. 4,31,200/- vide Cheque No. 489958 dated 12.12.2020 which was

received by the Managing Director of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Research

GEO Technical Engineering, who has stated that they have received

payment for the work of soil testing for construction of New Betar Bridge

at Poonch through DGM JKPCC Ltd. Unit 8th Rajouri and there is no

pending payment/liability related to the aforesaid work.

03. In view of the aforesaid, order of this Court dated 21.07.2018

stands complied with. Accordingly, the proceedings in this contempt

petition are closed.

04. Petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said order, if cause

survives.
