CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE

                                      ORDER

21 .09.2021

A Criminal Revision petition bearing No. 2/2016, was filed by the petitioner

herein, whereby he had challenged the order of conviction and sentence dated

23.07.2015, passed against him by Judicial Magistrate (1 st Class) Pampore, as

upheld by Additional Session Judge, Pulwama, vide judgment dated 21.12.215.

The aforesaid revision petition came to be dismissed by this Court in terms of

order dated 11.12.2018.

Through the medium of instant petition, the petitioner has sought stay of

operation of the judgment of conviction passed against him so that he is able to file

an appeal before the Supreme Court in terms of Article 134 (A) read with Article

136 of the Constitution.

Nobody has been appearing for the petitioner in this case for quite some

time. Even otherwise by now the petition has been rendered infructuous as the limitation period for filing Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court

against the order of this Court passed in the revision petition, has since expired.

In these circumstances no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping this

petitions pending.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as have been rendered infructuous.

(SANJAY DHAR) JUDGE SRINAGAR 21.09.2021 "Nuzhat Shafi"
