Mr. Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag, Himachal Pradesh in person.
Pursuant to order dated 31.8.2022, Mr. Rakesh Kanwar,
Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag has come present alongwith Engineer-in-
Chief, Jal Shakti Vibhag and other officers. He states that since the
Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag is on leave, he has not been able
to come present. He states that as per information given to him,
Department has filed an SLP in the Hon'ble Apex Court against the
judgment passed by Division Bench of this Court upholding the judgment
sought to be executed in the instant proceedings as such, matter may be
adjourned.
Though mere filing of SLP may not be sufficient to stall the
instant proceedings but since Mr. Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary Jal Shakti
Vibhag has not seen the entire record, this court deems it fit to adjourn
the matter for a while, enabling aforesaid officer to go through the
record.
List on 9.11.2022, on or before which date, judgment
sought to be executed shall be implemented, failing which all the
respondents shall remain present in court.
