CWP No. 6100 of 2020 Reply stands filed. Rejoinder is also stated to have

been filed, but the same is not on record. Registry to trace

and place the same on record, if in order, before next date of

hearing.

COPC No. 73 of 2021

Reply to the petition is stated to have been filed

but the same is not on record. Registry to trace and place the

same on record, if in order.

Precisely, the ground which has been taken by

the respondents in their reply to the contempt petition is that

they have been given liberty by the Hon'ble Division Bench to

file an application for vacation of stay. However, careful

perusal of judgment dated 28.4.2021, passed in LPA clearly

reveals that the prayer made on behalf of the respondents for

setting aside interim order dated 6.1.2021 passed in CWP No.

6100 of 2021, has been rejected, as such, respondents are

under obligation to implement the aforesaid interim order

dated 6.1.2021. More than six months have passed but till

date, no steps, whatsoever, have been taken by the

respondents to implement the aforesaid order dated

6.1.2021, whereas, petitioner has deposited Rs.1.50 Crore,

which has been accepted by the respondents.

In the aforesaid background this Court is prima

facie of the view that the respondents are in contempt, but,

on the vehement request of learned Assistant Solicitor

General of India, further ten days' time is granted to the

respondents to comply with order alleged to have been

violated, failing which respondents shall remain present in

the court on the next date of hearing.
