1. This petition under Article 226 at the stage of apprehension of an order of detention based on six offences registered against the petitioner under the provisions of Indian Penal Code and the Gujarat Money Lenders Act, 2011.
2. At the outset, learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner being 73 years of age and is also a Government authorized money lender with the license issued by the State of Gujarat for money lending is apprehending the detention only on the ground that the son of the petitioner who is also a co- accused in such offences has been detained under the provisions of

PASA. He submits that the detention order of the son of the petitioner namely Mr. Pranav Trivedi has been already been ordered to be quashed and set aside vide order judgment dated 17.03.2023 in Special Civil Application No. 1675 of 2023.
3. At this stage, learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr. Niraj Sharma has placed on record a communication addressed by Police Inspector, Raopura Police Station to the Office of the Government Pleader to indicate that as on date there is no proposal for detaining the petitioner under PASA and consequentially there is no order of PASA against the petitioner.
4. In view of the aforesaid position, learned advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage.
5. Permission, as sought for, is granted. The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
