                               ORAL ORDER

1. This is an application filed by the mother of the applicant - convict seeking parole leave for 30 days on the ground that the presence of the applicant is required to extend financial help to the family.

2. Heard party in person, who is present before this Court. She has submitted that she is residing alone and there is no one in the family to take care of her.

3. Learned APP has placed on record the jail remarks and has submitted that the applicant - convict was recently convicted for the offences punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code by judgment dated 02.12.2022 by the learned Court below.

4. From the jail remarks, it transpires that the applicant - convict has moved parole leave application before the District Magistrate, Vadodara on the ground to file appeal before this Court

R/SCR.A/410/2023 ORDER DATED: 12/01/2023

challenging the order of conviction. Such application is filed on 29.12.2022. In such circumstances, this application stands disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Vadodara, to decide the said application within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order. The mother of the applicant may be informed about the order passed by the District Magistrate, Vadodara.
