                       ORAL ORDER

(PER : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE ARAVIND KUMAR)

Mr. Mitul Shelat, the learned counsel, accepts notice for respondent No.2 and undertakes to file Vakalatnama within two weeks from today. His submission is placed on record. Permitted to file Vakalatnama, as undertaken.

The present contempt proceedings have been initiated for the alleged willful disobedience of the direction issued in the Special Civil Application No.11260 of 2017 dated 23.11.2021, whereunder, the following direction came to be issued;

"The respondents are directed to confer the

C/MCA/653/2022 ORDER DATED: 05/09/2022

Selection Grade after completion of 5 years from 01.01.2002. Necessary orders revising the pay scale of the petitioner and conferring the same accordingly shall be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the writ of this judgment. Rule is made absolute."

The learned AGP has placed on record two orders dated 03.09.2022, whereunder, the respondent has revised the pay-band of the petitioner and has also accorded the Selection Grade to the petitioner subject to the filing of the Letters Patent Appeal (Stamp) No.27205 of 2022.

Hence, placing the said orders on record, the contempt proceedings stands closed.
