Date : 18.09.2025

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 14.08.2025, Mr. P. Nayak, the learned Standing counsel for the Finance Department has placed before this Court an Office Memorandum dated 30.03.2012 and relied upon Clause-8 which stipulates that sweeping and cleaning services are to be outsourced and post of sweeper shall not be filled up in any Department on any ground, including compassionate grounds, except in Government Hospitals as per the stand of the Government already submitted before the High Court and the judgment issued thereon in WP(C) No.10447/2003 based on their stand. The said Office Memorandum is kept on record and marked with the letter "X".

2. A copy of the said Office Memorandum has also been furnished to Mr. S. K. Das, the learned counsel for the Petitioner who submits that if necessary, he would challenge the same.
