Heard Mr. P.D. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the appellant.

2. This appeal, under Section 173 of the M.V. Act, 1988, is directed against the judgment and award dated 12.11.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 2, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, in MAC Case No. 897/2017.

3. It is to be noted here that vide impugned judgment and award dated 12.11.2024, the learned Tribunal had directed the respondent No. 1 herein to pay a sum of Rs. 2,28,477.60/-, being the compensation to the appellant herein with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of the case till realization.

4. Perused the memo of appeal and the grounds mentioned therein, and also perused the impugned judgment and award dated 12.11.2024.

5. Admit.

6. Let notice be issued to the respondents returnable in four weeks.

7. Steps be taken upon the respondents by way of registered post with A/D as well as by usual process within a week from today.

8. Registry shall call for the record from the learned Tribunal.

9. List the matter after four weeks.
