Heard Mr. R. Goswami, learned counsel for the applicant.

2. This interlocutory application, is preferred by the applicant for staying of the impugned judgment and award dated 27.03.2025, passed by the learned Member, MACT, Lakhimpur in MAC(Death) Case No. 12/2020.

3. Mr. Goswami, submits that the applicant herein will deposit 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this Court, and the operation of the impugned judgment and award may be stayed till disposal of the appeal.

4. Taking note of the submissions of Mr. Goswami, learned counsel for the applicant, the impugned judgement and award dated 27.03.2025, stands stayed till disposal of the MACApp No. 286/2025, subject however to depositing of 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this Court within a period of 4 (four) weeks from today.

5. In terms of above, this I.A. stands disposed of.
