Heard Ms. U. Baruah, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Mr. D.J. Medhi, learned
counsel for the writ petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Sharmah, learned standing counsel,
AFDC, Assam appearing for the official respondents who submits that the judgment in the
connected matter being W.P.(C) No. 2913/2022, has recently been delivered dismissing Page No.# 3/3
the writ petition filed by the petitioner. However, the copy of the judgment is not yet
available online. Since the decision in the aforesaid proceeding would have a relevant
bearing on the prayer made in this writ petition, Mr. Sharmah prays for posting this matter
again after the upcoming Puja vacation so as to enable him to obtain proper instruction
facilitating disposal of the writ petition.
Taking note of the request made by Mr. Sharmah, this writ petition is directed to be
listed again on 31-10-2022, as a fixed item.
