Mr. D. Nath, learned Senior Government Advocate for the respondents in the Fishery Department prays for an adjournment to enable the respondents to examine the aspect that if promotions cannot be given to the present petitioners in view of the stand taken by the respondents that for the post of Fishery Development Officer, now-a-days more highly qualified technical persons are required having a Bachelors degree, as to whether the department can provide any appropriate scheme for the petitioners to be in conformity with the requirement of paragraphs 12 and 13 of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Food Corporation of India & Ors. Vs. Parashotam Das Bansal & Ors., reported in (2008) 5 SCC 100.
