Crl. M.A. 5608/2019 (Extension of bail)

1. Petitioner seeks extension of interim bail granted by order dated 11.02.2019 on the ground that his wife who had undergone surgery requires four weeks' time post discharge from the hospital for recovery purposes.

2. Status report has been filed which has verified that the medical

condition of the wife of the petitioner and also the recovery period which is certified by the doctor.

3. Wife of the petitioner was discharged on 15.03.2019 from the hospital and as per the certificate issued by the doctor requires four weeks' time for post operative recovery.

4. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and also the verification of the medical condition of the wife of the petitioner, interim bail granted to the petitioner by order dated 11.02.2019 is extended till 12.04.2019 on the same terms and conditions as well as the bail bonds.

5. Keeping in view the fact that wife of the petitioner has been advised rest by the doctor post her surgery and her identity has already been verified while accepting the bail bond in the first instance, she is granted exemption from her personal appearance before the trial court for acceptance of the surety bond.

6. The application is disposed of in the above terms.

7. Order Dasti under signatures of the Court Master.
