The present revision has been filed against the

judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated

10/04/2019 passed by the learned 2nd Additional

Sessions Judge, Raipur, C.G. in Criminal Appeal No.

45/2019 by which he has been convicted under

Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and

sentenced him to S.I. for 06 months and to deposit

an amount of Rs. 1,10,000/- as compensation with

default stipulation.

As the matter is arising out of a proceeding

under the Negotiable Instruments Act and to explore

amicable settlement between the parties, with the

consent of the parties, this matter is referred to

Mediation Cell of this Court under the aegis of the

Special Mediation Drive launched by the Hon'ble

Supreme Court- "Mediation for the Nation".

Parties are directed to appear before the

Mediation Centre on 11/08/2025.

Let the matter be listed before this Court on

19/08/2025 alongwith report of the Mediation Centre.
