The Court : Pursuant to an earlier order dated 31 August, 2023, the State is

represented.

The Superintendent of Police has filed a Report dated 7 September, 2023

which is kept with the records. The State is directed to circulate a copy of the

Report to all the parties. It appears from the Report that in respect of the

complaint filed by the Receiver appropriate proceedings have been initiated and

the trial is at an advance stage. Insofar as the subject vehicle is concerned, since

no complaint has been filed the police have not been able to investigate into the

matter.

Liberty is prayed for on behalf of the petitioner to take necessary steps

including filing a complaint in respect of the subject vehicle in accordance with

law.

The judgment debtor is directed to be present on 28 September, 2023 for

further examination.

The presence of the State is noted and dispensed with.
