Significantly, despite an undertaking given by the judgment debtor

that an aggregate sum of Rs.15 lakhs would be paid to the award holder, the

judgment debtor has failed to pay the balance amount of Rs.6 lakhs to the

award holder. The matter has been repeatedly adjourned on 3 August,

2023, 4 August, 2023 and 22 August, 2023 respectively in order to enable

the judgment debtor to make payment of the balance amount.

As a last chance, the time to make payment of the balance amount is

extended till the returnable date.

Liberty is also granted to the award holder to file an application for

contempt if the judgment debtor fails to comply with the undertaking

furnished in terms of the order dated 25 July, 2023.
