Learned counsel for the parties advance their
submissions on the merits of the case.
Learned counsel for the respondent-authorities,
apart from challenging the maintainability of the writ
petition in view of availability of an alternative remedy
by way of an appeal under Section 26 of the Bengal
Medical Act, 1914, also contends that the writ petition
is not maintainable on its merits.
For the purpose of citing judgments, learned
counsel for the respondents seeks adjournment.
Although arguments have been substantially
closed in the matter, simple for the purpose of citing
such judgments by the respondents, upon giving prior
copy of the judgments and/or intimation of the
judgments to learned counsel for the petitioner, the
matter is adjourned till November 11, 2022 when it
will be enlisted under the heading "To Be Mentioned".
