Sri Suresh Prasad Singh
Vs.
Smt. Sunita Singh
Mr. P. N. Mishra
...for the opposite party
Item No.07
Heard & Judgment on: 03.11.2022
Bibek Chaudhuri, J.
The petitioner is the husband of the opposite party. The
opposite party has filed an application under the Protection of
Women against Domestic Violence Act praying for maintenance
and other reliefs and the said proceeding is pending before the
learned Judicial Magistrate, First Court at Howrah.
The petitioner has filed the instant revision praying for
transferring the said proceeding being Misc. Case No.382 of
2019 to the First Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate at
Barrackpore on the ground that he is a resident of Jagatddal
within Barrackpore sub-division.
The petitioner is not represented by his learned advocate.
I have heard the learned advocate for the opposite party.
Having heard the learned advocate for the opposite party
and on careful perusal of the averment made in the revisional
application, I do not find any merit which may inspire this Court
to allow the prayer made by the petitioner in the instant
revision.
Accordingly, the revisional application is dismissed on
merit.
