Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned AGA for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed praying for ensuring the registration of FIR forthwith as per the order dated 27.02.2024.
Learned AGA informs that as prayed FIR has been registered on 07.05.2024.
Learned counsel for petitioner states that the FIR has been belatedly lodged. Hence direction may be given for speedy investigation conducting in this case.
The petition is disposed of directing the investigating officer to conclude the investigation in pursuance of the the FIR within period of 60 days.
In case of failure, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the trial court for monitoring the investigation as per judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Sakiri Vasu Vs. State of U.P. LAWS(SC) 2007-12-69.
