1. This writ petition filed by the State has arisen out of the judgement and order dated 30.5.2023 passed by the U.P. Public Services Tribunal in claim petition no. 2466 of 2022.
2. Even if the plea of limitation which the State government may have put-forth had substance but having regard to the orders passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Suo Motu Writ Petition(C) No. 3 of 2020, such a plea is inconsequential.
3. Insofar as the order of censure punishment is concerned, the same has lost its relevance as a result of the retirement of the delinquent employee on 31.8.2023.
4. There is no point brought to our notice as to how the impugned judgment would have any serious prejudice to the interest of the State on account of the direction issued.
5. Matters of this description ought not to be taken up before this Court so as to waste time and finance both.
6. The writ petition however, taking a lenient view, is hereby dismissed.
