A minor punishment of censure entry was assailed before the State Service Tribunal, Lucknow in Claim Petition No. 108 of 2021 (Ms. Sadhna Sargam Pal vs. State of U.P. and others) which on due consideration of the rival contentions has been rejected by the Tribunal. It is this order, which has been impugned before this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. We have gone through the impugned judgment/order passed by the Tribunal. The contentions raised by the petitioner have duly been considered. In absence of any defect in the procedure adopted, the Tribunal has found that the action taken is as per the procedure prescribed under the Rules.
We are convinced on the reasoning spelt out in the judgment impugned and we do not find that the judgment impugned herein this writ petition suffers from any illegality calling for an interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
The writ petition bereft of any merit, is accordingly, rejected.
