Sri Shashi Kant Pandey, learned State counsel is present, who has been heard.

The present appeal has been filed by the appellant Paras Nth Verma against the judgment and order dated 08.02.1988 passed by Special Judge, Basti in Special Case No. 30 of 1986, Police Station Purani Basti, District Basti.

As per office report dated 10.11.2022 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellant in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 17.10.2022 informed that the appellant - Paras Nth Verma has died. In support of which a report of concerned police station and the copy of death certificate issued by village pradhan and the copy of the statements of the other witnesses have also been annexed thereto.

Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

Office is directed to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge concerned within two weeks from today.
