The present appeal under Section 374 (2) Cr.P.C has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 24.12.1986 passed by 6th Addl. Sessions Judge, Meerut in S.T. No.183 of 1980.

As per the office report dated 17.11.2022, a report of C.J.M., Meerut dated 22.9.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Yogendra @ Jogendra has died on 22.1.2013. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant Yogendra @ Jogendra has died on 22.1.2013.

In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.

File consigned to records.

Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks.
