After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the applicants on instructions submits that the applicants will appear before the court concerned in Complaint Case No. 275 of 2017, under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. & Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station- Khurja Nagar, District- Bulandshahar, within a period of two weeks from today and will file their bail applications that may be considered in accordance with law. He further submits that they will also move an application for mediation as there is possibility of amicable settlement as the proceedings are arising out of matrimonial proceedings.
Considering the above submissions, prayer of this application is rejected.
However, in case applicants appear before the court concerned within a period of two weeks from today and file their bail applications, the same shall be considered in accordance with law by the court concerned taking note of the judgment passed by Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another reported in ( 2021) 10 SCC 773.
In case of any possibility of mediation, the court concerned may take endeavour to settle the issue by way of mediation by referring it to District Mediation & Conciliation Centre.
