This appeal has been filed by sole appellant-Mohan Lal alias Gajendra against judgment and order dated 24.09.1998 passed by IInd Additional Sessions Judge, Moradabad in S.T. No. 174 of 1990 convicting the appellant under Section 302 I.P.C. and sentencing him to imprisonment for life as also convicting him under Section 394 I.P.C. with sentence of seven years R.I.

The office has submitted a report, dated 13.04.2022, informing that the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amroha, vide letter dated 07.02.2022 (Flag 'A'), has informed that the appellant (Mohan Lal alias Gajendra) had died on 18.10.2021. The report of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amroha dated 07.02.2022 is on record.

A perusal whereof would reveal that the appellant (Mohan Lal alias Gajendra) had died on 18.10.2021.

The papers in connection with his death have been forwarded by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amroha.

In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
