Launch of Framework for Countering Mobilised Violence @Takshashila Institution, Bangalore [Dec 5]: Invitation Open

Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy invites you to the launch of the report, A Framework for Countering Mobilised Violence, prepared jointly by the Takshashila Institution and the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, Karnataka.We would be very grateful if Bar and Bench would publicise this event as it is of relevance to lawyers and students of law alike. The launch will take place on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm on the premises of the Takshashila Institution on Church Street, Bangalore. The location of the venue can be found on the map here.

Mr Udaya Holla, Advocate General of Karnataka, has kindly consented to deliver the keynote address for the event. The keynote address will be followed by the launch of the report, a brief presentation on the key recommendations contained therein, and a panel discussion on the subject of Mobocracy – Combating Organised Violence in India. The panellists are –
