About the organization

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property at Indian Institute of Technology was established in 2006. RGSOIPL is the first law school in India imparting full-time Intellectual Property education along with other regular courses prescribed by the Bar Council of India. It also has the unique distinction of being the only law school within the IIT system. It has maintained 9th position amongst different law schools in India in NIRF Ranking 2023.

About the Event

The Master’s Conference on Intellectual Property (MCIP) is centred on Intellectual Property and the related areas. Building upon the success of MCIP 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, both nationally and internationally, we are pleased to introduce MCIP 4.0 in 2024, themed “IP AND ACCESS.” This edition draws inspiration from the current complexities in the intellectual property sector, marked by growing monopolies and reduced accessibility.

MCIP 4.0 also highlights the remarkable achievements of marginalized communities and women inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs worldwide. Our objective is to offer a platform for aspiring professionals from various domains, including law, engineering, science, philosophy, and any field related to the theme.

Eligibility

The Conference is open to all PG Students, Research Scholars, Industry, and Faculty. All PG Students refer to those from Master’s in Law, Masters in Science, Humanities, and other interrelated disciplines. The Conference is also open to all International PostGraduate Law, Science, and Humanities students and students from other interrelated disciplines.
