Telangana High Court has made all the benches operational/functional through video conference using Cisco WebEx Meeting software. The Room Id’s are being sent to the Advocates and concerned, through SMS daily. The daily cause list has been tweaked in such a way that it can accommodate the mobile numbers of the Advocates for the use of staff controlling the Video Conferencing Sessions. The case bundles of the cases coming up for hearing on any particular day are being scanned and a copy of the same is circulated to the Hon’ble Judges.
CISCO WebEx meeting accounts have also been provided to all the Districts in the State for conducting the virtual Courts in the Subordinate Courts.
In order to facilitate Advocates who do not have access to virtual courts conducted by the High Court from their respective home offices, the High Court has set- up few control rooms at the High Court for the State of Telangana and couple more were established at the Telangana State Judicial Academy, Secunderabad for the smooth functioning of the Virtual Courts. The advocates/Parties in person are also optimally using the said facility.
