SBI Sanctions INR 10,050 Crore Loan for DVC Power Project
State Bank of India has sanctioned Rupee term loan facility of INR 10,050 crore to Damodar Valley Corporation for implementation of 800*2 MW ultra super critical thermal power project at Koderma, Jharkhand. The project, with a total capacity of 1600 MW, has been identified by the Ministry of Power as one of the projects for capacity addition by 2030, and is a significant initiative aimed at boosting power generation capacity in the region and promoting integrated socio-economic development of the area. DVC already operates a 500*2 MW thermal power plant in Koderma.
