On Wednesday, the Punjab & Haryana High Court strengthened its judicial bench with the induction of two senior members of the subordinate judiciary, marking a transition from district courts to constitutional adjudication. Justice Ramesh Chander Dimri and Justice Neerja Kulwant Kalson were sworn in as Additional Judges of the High Court, following their appointments notified by the Central Government earlier this month.

Justice Ramesh Chander Dimri and Justice Neerja Kulwant Kalson took oath as Additional Judges of the Punjab & Haryana High Court on January 8. Their appointments were formally notified by the Central Government on January 2. Prior to their elevation, both judges were serving in the Haryana judicial service at the district level.

Justice Dimri was serving as the District and Sessions Judge at Yamunanagar, while Justice Kalson held the position of District and Sessions Judge at Rohtak before her elevation to the High Court.
