Case briefs are important part of the curriculum in law schools. They help students to encapsulate legal material and analyse long judgements. To promote this wholesome training, Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University involves students in case brief writing through the course of their studies. To further promote the art of case brief preparation, and raise the standards of Legal Education in the country, the Moot Court Committee at the Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University is organizing “LEGAL VIGNETTE” – the Online Case Presentation Competition for the first time.
The aim is to provide all future lawyers a platform to understand, appreciate and analyse the rules of law to a given set of facts, identify the ratio decidendi and obiter dicta, and justify the reasonings of the judgement.
