The Allahabad High Court has expressed its inability to entertain ASGI's request for a debate over video conferencing from their office.
The High Court has stated that the staff of court is at high risk of corona infection, especially the computer section here. Also, the infrastructure of video conferencing is not available. In such a situation, no person or staff in the high risk zone can be asked to install the system in the Chamber.
The Single Bench of Justice Vivek Agarwal has given the above order by stating that,
“This request cannot be entertained in view of the fact that staff of the High Court has already in high risk of Corona infection and this is more prevalent in the Computer Section. No infrastructure is available to carry out Video conferencing in the Chamber.”
Along with this, the court has not accepted the request for debate through video conferencing and asked them to debate in open court on 30 September.
But after the request of the petitioner, Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi has put up this matter as fresh on 12.10.2020.
