A Woman Police Officer's Husband and Son were arrested for allegedly attacking the family of an Advocate by Gandhigram police of Rajkot on Sunday night.
According to Police, ASI Jyotsna Madhak’s husband Jasmin Madhak & her son Prashid Madhak were arrested after Lawyer Ripen Gokani registered a complaint against them.
Advocate Gokani in his complaint has alleged that when he was sitting outside his house in Shreeji Nagar on Airport road, Prashid Madhak passed by on his bike hurling abuses at somebody over the phone. The Advocate stopped Prashid & reprimanded him for using abusive words in public. Prashid called his father Jasmin, who reached the spot with 6-7 people in a car. The group of men allegedly attacked Gokani with sticks & pipes.
The accused also injured the Lawyer’s father Mahesh & other family members. Gokani has also claimed that the accused snatched his gold chain weighing 25 grams & threatened to kill him after pointing a country-made gun at him. Jasmin & Prashid were booked for assault & theft.
