The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 11th November, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of Shri Saurabh Kirpal, Advocate, as Judge in the Delhi High Court.
The court has Sanctioned strength of 60 judges working with 31 judges only. 29 Posts are still lying vacant in the Court.
About Delhi High Court
The High Court of Delhi was established on 31 October 1966. The High Court of Delhi was established with four judges, including Chief Justice K. S. Hegde, Justice I. D. Dua, Justice H. R. Khanna and Justice S. K. Kapur.
