The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the 20th All India Bar Examination (AIBE XX), allowing candidates to complete their online applications until October 31, 2025.
As per the revised schedule, candidates may submit their examination fees online and make necessary corrections in their application forms until November 1, 2025. The admit cards for the examination will be released on November 15, while the AIBE XX is set to be held on November 30, 2025.
The Council has clarified that final-year law students and law graduates awaiting their degree certificates are also eligible to apply, provided they submit a duly signed undertaking, available on the official registration portal.
The All India Bar Examination serves as a qualifying test for law graduates seeking to practice as advocates across the country, ensuring minimum standards of legal competence and professional ethics within the legal fraternity.
