Headnote :
The Court has rejected the special leave petition, stating:

\"The Supreme Court serves a purpose beyond that of a mere appellate court; it wields its authority only in cases of utmost necessity. It is not the fifth level of appeal, but rather the nation\'s ultimate court.\"

As such, even if legal errors can be identified electronically, this Court will not intervene unless there is clear injustice or a significant public issue at stake. [509 E]

HEADNOTE:

Dismissing the special leave petition, the Court

HELD : 'The Supreme Court is more than a Court of appeal. it exercises power only when there is supreme need. It is not the fifth court of appeal but the final court of the nation.

Therefore, even if legal flaws may be electronically detected, this Court cannot interfere sans manifest injustice or substantial question of public importance. [509 E]

By this token, the petitioner has missed the bus. Dismissed.
