1. Mr. Mohd. Matlub, learned counsel for the petitioners.

2. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. with Mrs. Rangoli Purohit, learned Brief Holder for the State.

3. Yesterday both the parties were present and the mother and brother of the petitioner no. 1 joined the proceeding through V.C. Both the petitioners are major and married with each other but the family members of petitioner no. 1 want that they are not against this marriage but they want that the marriage be solemnized as per their custom and rites.

4. Consequently, the respondent nos. 4 and 7 and the parents of petitioner no. 2 were directed to appear before the S.H.O., Manglore so that their undertaking may also be recorded that they are not against the marriage of the petitioners and today, learned State counsel placed before this court the report of S.H.O., Manglore along with the undertaking of respondent nos. 4 and 7 as well as the father of petitioner no. 2 and I peruse the same and now since the respondent nos. 4 and 7 the mother and brother of petitioner no. 1 gave an undertaking before the S.H.O. concerned, therefore, there is no any threat to the petitioners from respondent nos. 4 and 7.

5. The mother, brother of petitioner no. 1 and the uncle Abdul Rehman of petitioner no. 2 are present in court. The respondent nos. 4 and 7 are also present in court and undertakes before this court that there is no threat from their side and other family members to both the petitioners.

6. The report of S.H.O., Manglore, is taken on record.

7. Since, now there is no any threat to the petitioners, therefore, there is no useful purpose to keep this petition pending and the petitioner no. 1 is free to go with the mother or brother or to live 2026:UHC:2614 with the husband.

8. If either of the party have any grievance with each other, they can apprise to the S.H.O. concerned and the S.H.O. concerned take appropriate steps as per law.

9. Subject to the observation and directions as above, the writ petition is disposed of and all the parties are directed not to take law in their hands and comply with the undertaking as given before the S.H.O. concerned.
