2. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that a dispute arose on account of student rivalry in connection with student union elections. It is contended that, pursuant thereto, the police apprehended applicant nos.1 and 2 on the evening of 24.06.2024 and produced them before the S.D.M., Bazpur, where proceedings under Sections 151, 107, and 116 of the Cr.P.C. were initiated. On the basis of the police report, the S.D.M., Bazpur issued notice under Section 111 Cr.P.C. directing the applicants to furnish personal bonds in the sum of ₹25,000/- each, along with two sureties of the like amount, for a period of six months for maintaining peace and good behaviour. It is further submitted that the F.I.R. lodged on 25.06.2024 pertains to the very same incident alleged to have occurred on 24.06.2024.
3. As prayed, three weeks' time is granted to learned State Counsel to file counter affidavit.
4. List in due course.
5. Considering the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant, it is directed that, till the next date of listing, further proceedings of Criminal Case No.90 of 2026, pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Sing Nagar, shall remain stayed, qua the applicants.
6. Stay application (I.A. No.1 of 2026) stands disposed of.
