2. Mr. Pulak Agarwal, learned counsel for respondent no.5/Insurance Company.

3. The present appeal has been filed against the judgment and award dated 06.12.2016, passed by the M.A.C.T./ Additional District Judge, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar in M.A.C.P. No. 401 of 2011, whereby the claim petition filed by the appellant/claimants was partly allowed and an amount of ₹50,000/- was awarded in their favour.

4. Today, the matter was taken up before the National Lok Adalat.

5. Now, the appellants/claimants and respondents have mutually agreed to settle the matter through compromise. Accordingly, the appellants/claimants have expressed their willingness to withdraw the appeal.

6. In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

7. The compromise report shall be made part of the record.
