2. Mr. Tapan Singh, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 & 4.

3. This appeal is directed against the judgment and award dated 20.11.2021 passed by Workman Compensation Commissioner/ Presiding Officer, labour Court, Haridwar in E.C.A. No.10 of 2019, whereby the compensation of ₹6,70,160/- along with interest @12% per annum has been awarded in favour of the respondents/claimants.

4. Heard on Money Withdrawal Application.

5. The respondent/claimants have moved the present application seeking release of the deposited amount, stating that they are in urgent need of funds to meet their household expenses, medical treatment, and livelihood requirements.

7. For the reasons stated in the application, the Money Withdrawal Application (IA No. 2 of 2025) is allowed.

8. It is directed that out of the amount deposited by the appellant/Insurance Company before the Tribunal, the 50% amount shall be released in favour of respondents/claimants as per their respective share and the remaining amount shall be kept in an interest-bearing fixed deposit in a nationalised bank, subject to further orders of this Court.

9. List this appeal on 18.12.2025 along with connected appeal.
