2. WPMS No.3100 of 2025 - By means of this writ petition, petitioners have put to challenge the judgment and order dated 29.10.2021, whereby the application moved by the respondents-plaintiffs for temporary injunction has been allowed and the petitioners-defendants were restrained from interfering in the peaceful possession of the respondents- plaintiffs and further judgment and order dated 09.09.2025, whereby the appeal there against was also met with the same fate of dismissal by Appellate Court.
3. WPMS No.3101 of 2025 - By means of this writ petitions, petitioners have put to challenge the aforesaid orders whereby the application moved by the petitioners for temporary injunction against the respondents-plaintiffs on the strength of claiming a counter claim over the suit property has been rejected and an appeal there against met with same fate.
4. It is contended by counsel for the petitioners- defendants that name of petitioners-defendants are recorded in the revenue record in Category-IX for Khasra No.2148 which reflects that there is longstanding possession over the said property.
5. It is further contended that the document was brought on record by the petitioners-defendants in counter claim, but the said document has been completely ignored by the courts' below and temporary injunction order was granted
in favour of the respondents-plaintiffs and the prayer for temporary injunction made by the petitioners-defendants was rejected.
6. Issue notice to the respondents-plaintiffs, returnable within four weeks.
7. Steps to be taken within seven days.
8. Respondent(s) may file counter affidavit(s) within four weeks.
9. List these cases on 22.12.2025.
10. In the meantime, in view of the facts that the petitioner-defendants are also recorded in Khasra in Category IX in revenue paper, therefore parties are directed to maintain status quo with regard to the property in- question as on today.
