2. Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned A.G.A. for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. The present Criminal Jail Appeal has been preferred against the order dated 27.02.2025 and judgment dated 28.02.2025, passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/F.T.C. (POCSO), Haridwar in Special Sessions Trial No. 158 of 2023. By the aforesaid judgment and order, the appellant was convicted under Section 9(n) read with Section 10 of the POCSO Act, 2012 and sentenced to undergo five years of rigorous imprisonment, along with a fine of ₹20,000/-. In default of payment of the fine, the appellant was directed to undergo an additional ten days imprisonment.
4. Learned counsel for the State has sought ten days' time to file objection to the bail application.
5. List this case on 08.07.2025.
6. Registry is directed to supply the paper book to learned counsel for the parties, as per Rules.
