1. Mr. Nikhil Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Pooran Singh Bisht, learned Addl. CSC for the State.

3. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4.

4. By the instant writ petition, petitioner is praying for the following relief:

"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the deadline for filling up the application form beyond the period, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, pursuant to the advertisement dated 18.10.2024 for the post of Lecturer, Government Inter College Examination, 2024 and further to accept the application form of the petitioner online / manually / physically for the recruitment on the post of Lecturer, Government Inter College Examination, 2024 pursuant to the advertisement dated 18.10.2024 and further be pleased to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the said selection process."

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue as raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this Court dated 07.01.2025 in Writ Petition (SS) No. 2504 of 2024 (Mahendra Singh and others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others).

6. Learned counsel for the respondents have not disputed this fact.

7. In view of the statement given by learned counsel for the parties, present writ petition is disposed of in terms of judgment rendered by this Court dated 07.01.2025 in Writ Petition (SS) No. 2504 of 2024 (Mahendra Singh and others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others).
