Hon'ble Ravindra Maithani, J.
Mr. Anil K. Bisht and Mr. G.P. Awasthi, Advocates for the petitioners in CLCON Nos.401, 394, 398, 399 and 464 of 2024.
Mr. Ankush Kumar Tyagi, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Naman Kamboj, Advocate for the petitioner in CLCON No.464 of 2024.
Mr. Devesh Ghildiyal, Brief Holder for the State.
The respondent no.1 was requested to join the proceedings. Today, the respondent no.1, Ravinath Raman, joined the proceedings through video conferencing. He submits that in view of the contradictory decisions, the State has preferred a review application, which has recently been rejected. He submits that the benefit could not be given to the petitioners because it would be contempt of another judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court.
At it, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that State has already complied with the directions given in SPA No.833 of 2019, State of Uttarakhand and Others Vs. Tula Singh Tariyal, decided by this Court on 08.05.2024.
To it, respondent no.1, Ravinath Raman, seeks time. He claims that he can examine the case of Tula Singh Tariyal (supra), and in case he has been given benefit, the State will approach the Finance Department for compliance. List this matter on 09.01.2026.
