                                               CRLA No. 163 of 2025
                                               Hon'ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J.

Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.

Mr. Sanpreet Singh Ajmani and Mr. Vikas Kumar Guglani, Advocates for the appellant.

Mr. Basva Nand Molakhi, Deputy Advocate General for the State.

2. There is delay of 4 days in filing these appeals. Impugned order was passed on 06.02.2025, while Appeals were filed on 12.03.2025. Section 21(5) of National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 reads as under:

"(5) Every appeal under this section shall be preferred within a period of thirty days from the date of the judgment, sentence or order appealed from:

Provided that the High Court may entertain an appeal after the expiry of the said period of thirty days if it is satisfied that the appellant had sufficient cause for not preferring the appeal within the period of thirty days:

Provided further that no appeal shall be entertained after the expiry of period of ninety days."

3. The justification offered for condoning delay of 4 days is that the documents were voluminous, which were originally in Hindi and their translation into English took some time.

4. The prayer for condonation is not seriously opposed by State Counsel, although an objection was filed.

5. For the reasons indicated in the Delay Condonation Applications, we condone the delay of 4 days in filing the appeal. Delay Condonation Applications stand disposed of.

6. The Appeals are treated as having been filed within time.

7. Heard the parties at length.

8. Admit the Appeals.

9. As prayed by learned State Counsel, list these matters whenever Bench is available.
